Premonições: Amestigon - Thier
Amestigon are Austrian black metal OG’s, having originally formed in 1995 (with unofficial demos going back to ’93). But you might not know it because they have only released one full length album, and that was just recently in 2009. Now they’re about to come back with a second full-length slab of complex black metal, Their, featuring Silenus of Summoning and recently Abigor on vocals. His unmistakable vocals are at their grittiest on the by turns melodic and orthodox “Demiurg,” the first song on Their.
Premonições: FALSE - Untitled
At long last, we have the new album from the Minneapolis black metal project, False. After an Untitled EP in 2011, and a split LP with Barghest in 2012, they now return with their first proper full-length album, once again an untitled release.
Throughout the sixty-minute run time of the album, False dive deeper into the realm of visceral and relentless black metal for which they’ve become well-known. Their live sound and ferocity is finally captured here, revealing a whole new depth and darkness that has only been hinted at on previous recordings. This album is far from a simple exercise in listening, and more akin to a journey to be experienced. The works contained therein are incredibly bleak and emotionally powerful, with a long lasting impact.
This Untitled album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Adam Tucker at Signaturetone Recording, with artwork by Nicole Sara Simpkins. It will be presented as a gatefold CD and gatefold 2LP, each pressed in a quantity of 1000. It will be available in stores on June 16, 2015, with direct pre-orders available Thursday, April 9th.
False are currently also booking a 30+ date tour for August & September.

One of the top bands and boundary-pushing visionaries of the mid-90’s Norwegian Black Metal evolution, having released 4 full-length albums since their inception, DHG are widely hailed as masters of dark & psychotic psychedelia-tinged extremity.
The first fruits of DHG’s re-animated labour manifest in the shape of new studio album, ‘A Umbra Omega’, with original co-founding member Aldrahn (Thorns/The Deathtrip) making a return to the asylum on vocal duties alongside Vicotnik’s exquisite & unconventional compositions & structures.
‘A Umbra Omega’ is DHG’s first album since 2007’s ‘Supervillain Outcast’ opus, and undoubtedly marks the band’s most challenging work to date; twisted, technical, sprawling epics & an inverted outlook on existence from the depths of band mastermind/writer/producer Vicotnik, with similarities drawn to previous classic DHG works such as ‘666 International’ and ‘Satanic Art’. A raw and organic production permeates the album courtesy of Vicotnik himself, with the album mastered at Strype Audio in Oslo by Tom Kvålsvoll.
Dødheimsgard was formed in 1994 by Vicotnik & Aldrahn. The early incarnation was that of a raw and melodic black metal band, with their debut album also featuring Fenriz of Darkthrone on bass, before the poisons of a more avantgarde & schizophrenic concoction started to take hold.

New album’s recording process is slowly nearing its end, so it’s time to share some basic info.
As we already mentioned earlier, the title of our latest work is “Near Death Revelations”. All instruments have been recorded and vocal sessions will take place very soon. The album consists of 7 tracks and lasts over 50 minutes (+ one bonus track planned for later vinyl edition).
The artwork was once again created by Andrzej Masianis and layout arranged by our own Kontamination Design.
Label & release date haven’t been confirmed yet, so we are open for conversation and any fair and serious deals. Anyone interested, please write: blazeofperdition@gmail.com

At long last, German black metal tyrants Ascension unveil their highly anticipated second album, The Dead of the World, set for European release on December 24th via W.T.C. Productions (Season of Mist will handle the North American release). Previewed by the Deathless Light EP, Ascension's The Dead of the World is a grandiose work of bold creativity and boundless imagination, of brilliant illumination and obsidian depth, all under the banner of orthodox black metal. The band's debut album, 2010's Consolamentum, became a classic in the underground not long after its release; it evinced a wealth of maturity in composition and execution for such a new band. Here, the quintet eclipse that accomplishment with a seven-song salvo that's the epitome of Album Experience. Every part is where it needs to be; every song flows from the other; there is a whole, and it is a black HOLE.
