To round out the year, NAILS will enter the caverns of Godcity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts with Converge’s Kurt Ballou from late December into early January, recording their anticipated next full-length. The new album, Abandon All Life, will be finished early in the year for a Spring release on Southern Lord, with much more to be announced in the coming weeks.

"The rotting stench of human decay prevails as deathly duo ENCOFFINATION returns with "Elegant Funerals for the Unknown Dead" - a brand new five-track EP that follows the trail of death travelled on 2011 full-length "O' Hell, Shine in Thy Whited Sepulchres". A suffocating, abysmal journey further downwards into the bottomless abyss, this guttural, lo-fi EP is certainly not for those fixated with crystalline productions and/or catchy hooks; to the contrary, it is crafted solely for those obsessed by death. Slow, tortured, decrepit extreme death/doom infused with sickness, this vinyl-only release crawls from the coffin with brooding, ominous intent. As funeral bells chime for the dearly departed, no living thing can withstand the relentless onslaught of death, the onset of decay, the insatiable call of the crypt. Death is an expression of human frailty in its purest form and ENCOFFINATION personifies this lore of death - never more so than on "Elegant Funerals for the Unknown Dead"."

Fixem este nome, porque vão ouvir falar dele bastante nos proximos tempos (pelo menos por aqui) e atendendo aos dois eps que o projeto/musico lançou este ano e outras ligações que ficam para uma proxima...

O primeiro album Tombeau a ser lançado este ano ainda irá conter três faixas do ep em cima.
Entretato a banda lançou este mês mais um monstro, embora este ligeiramente mais direcionado para o lado mais ambiental embora sem no entanto perder a sua vertente mais extrema...dá pelo nome de Knell e podem ouvir aqui tambem:

Ambos os trabalhos são do melhor que ouvi nos ultimos tempos e uma das minhas escutas diarias obrigatorias, acredito que por ai vai fazer o mesmo efeito.
