This entity revives the ancient legacy of the 90´s dark ages in the witchcraft path, the essence is to embody itself as the sacralical acts of reverberation and the poisonous enchantment of Man. The name “Gryftigæn” consists of two ancient words fragmented from the Poisonous that is described in Germanic texts and ancient words from Proto-escandinavian themes referred to “Place of rest or Buried”. “Pneuma D´yakh” It was one of the first hymns of high magic that demostrated the musical level of these two tyrants from the land of eternal mist “Valdivia” located in the south of Chile. Já são alguns anos em cima e a música extrema é muitas vezes o fio condutor para se respirar...seja o que isto queira dizer ou signifique, se é que significa...no entanto existem pequenas coisas que são tão ou mais importantes que os ecos criados pelos instrumentos musicais, falo naturalmente da arte visual que tão importante é neste meio e que acaba por se complementar como um todo..nem que seja uma simples capa negra. O Timo Ketola fazia parte daquelas poucas entidades que conseguiam recrirar todo o imaginário sonoro e transforma-lo em pesadelos visuais de uma forma arrepiante e mais importante que tudo era uma das pessoas mais respeitadas no meio o que por si só já diz muito. Acabou a viagem para ele...no entanto será Eterno.

The downwards deathmarch that commenced with the split 7”EP with Monte Penumbra (2014) now continues with Three-Faced Scapular of Death, a conceptual work portraying three different perspectives on Death: Loss, Liberation and Retaliation. For this purpose a collaboration was made with the Portuguese writer José Luís Peixoto, who conceded three exclusive texts for the project, that serve as a basis for the lyrics.
