New Zealand’s most vicious black/death metal war machine Witchrist, who signed a cushy deal with Osmose Production last year, have announced their second album “The Grand Tormentor” is nearly complete. The follow-up to their 2010′s debut “Beheaded Ouroboros” (out on Invictus Production) is supposed to be released within next couple of months.
“It’s superior in everyway to ‘Beheaded Ouroboros’. It’s heavier, it’s faster, the doom is crushing and the vokills destroy all previous releases”, wrote one of the Witchrist’s members Brendan Southwell on the band’s official Facebook profile.
Witchrist have recently released a split EP with US death metal veterans Morbosidad via Hells Heabangers Records.
