"Portugal’s Louvado Abismo offers us their self-titled debut record, delving into the depths of the abyss through the intricate layers of schizophrenia and psychological disturbance. The album is set for vinyl and digital release on 31 May via Half Beast Records, with a CD release to follow. Despite being a new formation, Louvado Abismo boasts seasoned members from diverse artistic backgrounds, including theater actress Patrícia Andrade (ex- Sinistro) on vocals, Hugo Conim (Dawnrider, Els Focs Negres...) on guitars, Pedro Almeida (A Tree of Signs, Scum Liquor...) on drums, and Hélder Luís (Mozart Meets Chaos, The Sleeper has Awakened...) on bass. Musically, Louvado Abismo’s debut is a melting pot, blending Christian Death with Siouxsie and the Banshees, or even Godflesh with Killing Joke, Swans and Ministry. Não fazemos trocas com outras distribuidoras, pois não pretendemos ter um catálogo enorme e abrangente, mas sim específico, incluindo bandas que consideramos relevantes dentro do seu próprio género musical. O nosso material é comprado directamente às bandas ou às editoras. Desta maneira, teremos sempre um stock bastante limitado e que se encontrará em constante renovação.

World Below is a small Portuguese distro, created by three individuals who share a similar musical taste. Essentially, our goal is to distribute releases from bands that we like. Mainly, we will favor analog formats, but not exclusively. We won’t trade with other distros, because our aim is not a huge catalog, but a rather specific one, including bands we consider relevant in their own genre. Our material is bought directly from bands and labels, so our stock is rather limited and will always be in constant renewal.
