Isto é o Death V2.0 

Album com todos os condimentos macabros que transformaram esta entidade num monstro de proporções épicas! Depois de se banalizarem um pouco no anterior "The Baneful Choir" a banda espanhola reencontra de novo a redenção sinistra iniciada no Seven Chalices e que foi aprimorada naquele que é ainda a meu ver o seu album mais completo, o venenoso e mortal "Death"!! 

Este "From The Visceral Abyss" volta a elevar a aura obscura, extrema sentida no "Death" conseguido a espaços superar mesmo alguns dos momentos desse fantastico registo, um bom exemplo disso é a final "Tomb Corpse Haruspex" onde ao longo dos seus 14 minutos e 54 segundos estamos perante seguramente aquela que muito provavelmente será a faixa de Teitanblood mais histórica de sempre....e aquele final é comparavel ao que se sente após o final do Nosferatu! Monstruosidade, agonia e morte seguido de um assustador silêncio.......isto tudo antes e apos um pequeno detalhe que nos leva de volta aos 7 calices iniciais (irão entender). 

E por falar em "abismo" aquele riff inicial com um travo amargo a Slayer/Possessed antigo, logo apos a curta intro ambiental (outro fator presente e essencial aqui) é um dos momentos mais espectaculares dos ultimos anos dentro da musica extrema na minha opinião...até porque logo depois tudo desaba em cima de nós enquanto somos puxados para algo completamente diferente daquilo que já estavamos a ser subjugados inicialmente! 

Perdidos numa especie de hipnose labirintica mas sempre com o sentido certo as coisas entram na tal especie de evolução sonora iniciada no "Death" que dei conta e onde as camadas de sons se misturam, as vozes dissonantes ecoam por este templo e o ambiente ritualista está claramente presente originando um grotesco e glamoroso som digno e sem paralelo na atualidade... 

Não é apenas recomendavel é obrigatorio e claro mais um album para se tratado de forma diferente e estudado em cada momento! Sinceramente não estava a espera disto!! Mas ainda bem que continuam "mortos" cada vez mais "mortos"....

Talvez estejamos perante no mais grandioso registo criado pelo NSK, J. , CG Santos e Javi...e sem quaisquer duvida mais uma homenagem brilhante feita ao eterno "membro" Timo Ketola!!!

Ritual Ascension - Profanation of the Adamic Covenant

Members of Void Rot, Suffering Hour, and Aberration come together in Ritual Ascension, a horrendous sonic desecration decomposing death metal into a subsonic hallucinatory miasma, and deforming into a hideous disfigurement of its former self. Devoured in dissonance and shrouded in catacombal atmospheres, the band’s horrendous debut full-length monstrosity "Profanation of the Adamic Covenant" takes the masterful death-doom horror of early Temple Nightside and of Grave Upheaval, and transfigures it further into the darkest abysses of surrealism. Not dissimilar to an auditory experimental horror film or to a stripped down version of Portal playing experimental doom, the work traces the grotesque lineaments of a disfigured subterranean hellscape through a masterful use of surrealism, dissonance and compositional abstraction. Slow, crushing, atonal dirges alternate lumbering behemoth-like trudges and enigmatic tectonic upheavals that build an immense ominous aura as the album unfolds a dense, mephitic atmosphere draped in malevolent ambience. The album’s monolithic and agonizing crawl is then violently disrupted by onslaughts of wrathful disturbances, where bursts of demented blasting, tortured screams and mangled fretwork blindside the listener, casting them further down the abyss, into a bottomless sepulcher of confusion and of complete chthonic torment.
