Os franceses Overmars são uma das minhas bandas favoritas e o aparente final da banda foi algo extremamente enervante para não escrever outra coisa..começar assim a escrever umas ideias acerca de um album realmente não é muito inteligente, mas isto tem tudo a ver.
Não, isto não é nenhum projeto pararelo nem algo do tipo, estes Merdarahta vêm do Canada e são uma banda com ligações aos grinders Fuck The Facts, mas as ligações ficam-se por aqui já que aquilo que estes rapazes e rapariga criam nesta banda (de nome com sonoridade bizarra quando dita em portugues) é uma especie de invocação cadaverica da banda que falei no primeiro paragrafo e não aquele tipico pontapé nos queixos que FTF por vezes dá..
Sludge apocaliptico com alguma maquinaria pelo meio que nos transporta com alguma nostalgia para aquilo que bandas como Overmars ou Salome fizeram no passado e com bastante interesse diga-se, embora não seja de escuta ou algo propriamente de digestão facil, destaca-se o excelente registo vocal da Mel que consegue ser agoniante o suficiente para sobreviver no meio daquela selvajaria instrumental e tirar ou melhor criar a envolvencia certa para este tipo de som.
Um album que gostei imenso e que me tem feito companhia nos ultimos tempos...
