Musicalmente dentro daquilo que a Ancient tem vindo a mostrar nos ultimos anos e com pilares bem vincados na sonoridade nordica da segunda metade dos anos 90 este Empire of Impurity segue ou mantem a linha mestra daquilo que o projeto mostrou no anterior The Dawn of Black Pansophy elevando um pouco mais a atmosfera criativa.
