Tenebro - Una Lama d'Argento
With “Una Lama D’Argento”, TENEBRO take their most extreme and visionary step yet: an entire album conceived as a tribute to Dario Argento, the undisputed master of horror, giallo, and thriller cinema.
Eleven tracks that are not just songs, but episodes of a single nightmare, a journey through the dark and obsessive atmospheres of the films that shaped cinema history: Deep Red (1975), Suspiria (1977), Inferno (1980), Tenebre (1982), Phenomena (1985), and Opera (1987).
TENEBRO translate Argento’s universe into sound: riffs sharp as blades, guttural vocals emerging from the darkness, relentless drumming, and atmospheres shifting between pure violence and suffocating tension. Iconic scenes such as the mirror revealing the killer in Deep Red, the brutal mutilation in Tenebre, or the larva-filled bathtub finale in Phenomena are transformed into brutal, immersive sonic attacks, capturing the full horror and tension of the films.
As with every album, TENEBRO continue to evolve, introducing new symphonies, styles, and melodies, while remaining distinctly separate from the wider underground scene. Their music explores new horizons without ever betraying the pulsating heart that has always defined their sound: extreme, theatrical, and viscerally horror-driven.
In “Una Lama D’Argento”, TENEBRO do not merely evoke Argento’s universe: they embody it, rewriting his obsessions in Giallo Metal. It is an album that cuts, tears, and leaves no room for respite.
“Una Lama D’Argento” is not just an album: it is a sonic nightmare, a visceral tribute to the cinema that taught us to love fear.
Foetorem - Demo 2025
The Danish quartet Foetorem emerges to deliver some of the darkest music Everlasting Spew has to offer in quite some time. Menacing and horrifying death doom not shy to rely on a crushing production and sinister melodies to deliver its nightmarish homily. Feel the stench rising!
Foetorem is an extreme metal quartet hailing from Denmark's obscure and rising metal underground. With a band name that translates to 'stench of decay', Foetorem produces Death/Doom metal with ponderous and melodic guitar riffing over technical drum beats and pulsing basslines. Through the vehicle of guttural deep vocals, Foetorem is spewing psalms of death that drag the listener into miasmic landscapes with abhorrent tunes of human ruination.
The band published their Demo 2025 on the digital platforms January 14th 2025 while Everlasting Spew will give this slab of Death Doom a physical form by April 11th 2025.

Decrepit Altar - Egregious Defilement
Me Saco Un Ojo Records proudly presents the debut EP of Croatian death-doom maniacs Decrepit Altar.
Gloomy guitars greet you with a charnel atmosphere, eerily descending into the graves. This subsides to showcase putrescent riffing and gargantuan drums with a monolithic heaviness, the perfect recipe for fetid death-doom excellence. Morbidly snarled vocals reverberate into the abyss with the spectral instruments perfectly enshrouding their malignant presence. Combining crushing heaviness with savage and creeping aggression, these three tracks lurk in shadowy cemeteries awaiting your arrival only to punish you with their flagellating horrors. From the warping progressions to the primal bludgeoning force, it will not take long for you to feel this band means business with their first release.
Each sinuous and stringy tendril of terror flows organically from the last, presenting darkness and evil with a veritably claustrophobic and tense sound. Churning malice and groove in equal measure, their vile concoction of festering offal is something pungent and addictive that keeps you coming back for more. All three of these twisted offerings give something of their own with a personality and character while fitting together to forge a trinity of depraved darkness that doomed death metal fans will certainly cherish. Prepare for egregious defilement…
Escarnium - Inexorable Entropy
"Brazilian Death Metal juggernaut Escarnium returns with its 4th full length album "Inexorable Entropy" featuring 9 tracks of unrelenting, blast beats driven, infernal death metal!
Formed in 2008 in Salvador, Brazil, Escarnium emerged as a five-piece band committed to crafting raw, visceral death metal fueled by anguish and nihilistic ideas. Over the years, the band has grown to become one of the leading names in the Brazilian metal scene. Now performing as a quartet, Escarnium continues to expand its reach and impact in the extreme music world..."
The Ominous Circle - Cloven Tongues of Fire
"In a long overdue return, Portugal's The Ominous Circle rise again from the mist with their sophomore album "Cloven Tongues of Fire", a deeper descent into the great, endless chasms. A maelstrom of fire and relentless chaos that defies everything in this age of empty standards and sterile paradigms, the new full-length effort represents their darkest, most intense and uncompromising manifest to date, both a witness to the wickedness of iniquity and a tribute to the arts of the extreme.
Sophisticated yet raw, dynamic and fierce, presenting a different approach to songwriting while continuing the path of 2017's acclaimed "Appalling Ascension", "Cloven Tongues of Fire" delivers 43 minutes of black-infused Death metal with monolithic slabs of doom. A defaced abomination of low-tuned impious riffing, dissonant patterns and wildfire rhythms, from the manic blasting of “Through Tunnels Ablaze” to the gargantuan epic that is “Utterance of the Formless”, forming a tome of Dark Death Metal necromancy."
Thaumaturgy - Pestilential Hymns
"THAUMATURGY was spawned in the American Midwest by an enigmatic musician that goes under the alias KT, driven by the urge to play a vicious blend of dark, doom-laden, chasmic, and cavernous death metal, taking influence from a wide range of outsider music. THAUMATURGY attempt to push the boundaries beyond the genre's forerunners in order to invoke contemplation upon the super-mundane realms that their name implies. Previously an outright death-doom metal act with a darkened edge, the band has morphed into an entity whose musical offering is crammed with furious, ripping riffs, contrasted by crushing, echoing doom passages, as well as a surprising element of dark melody, evoking comparisons to the more diabolical early bands from Sweden, such as Necrophobic and Grotesque, although combining that approach with the tenebrosity and the murkiness of Incantation and Krypts, the violent and chaotic assault of Morbid Angel, the aggressiveness of Dutch bands like Sinister and Pestilence, the modern approach of acts like Grave Miasma and Cruciamentum, and even the sheer lightlessness of bands such as Demoncy and Adversarial."
Mortual - Altar of Brutality
"Rising from the oppressive crypts of Central America, MORTUAL is ready to deliver their most unrelenting statement of intent yet. Following a trilogy of celebrated EPs, the Costa Rican death metal cult will release their long-awaited debut full-length, "Altar of Brutality", on LP, CD and MC format on July 4th, 2025 through Nuclear Winter Records.
Spawned in the black rain and pestilent winds of San José, "Altar of Brutality" is a declaration of total spiritual negation: eight impure hymns steeped in decay, fanatic violence and the iconoclastic hunger to desecrate all that is sacred. Carrying forward the cursed legacy of their previous EP "Evil Incarnation", MORTUAL now reach deeper into the void, channeling a darker, more oppressive sound, dripping with heretical intent and sharpened through years of relentless underground devotion.
This is not a reinvention, but a declaration, a brutal affirmation of death metal’s primal force. With "Altar of Brutality", MORTUAL summon a vision of spiritual ruin and corporeal decay, wrapped in chains of riffs, blasts and unwavering intensity.
For fans of: early Deicide, Mortem, Sadistic Intent, early Monstrosity"
Premonições: Malthusian - The Summoning Bell
"MALTHUSIAN sign to Relapse Records and unearth their deathly opus, The Summoning Bell.
On their highly anticipated new album, MALTHUSIAN's fetid hallmarks are ever present: truly unforgiving, unrelenting Death Metal.
Swirling chords and ominous cymbal swells give way to the band's opener "Red, Waiting". What follows is a flurry of murk and madness - blast beats pummel against churns of distortion. The sonic atmosphere cultivated by MALTHUSIAN's palpable fury is suffocating; each riff carefully crafted to push and pull on the momentum behind their music. The Summoning Bell is undeniably a pitch-black take on the genre.
The Summoning Bell is a lighting of the pyre - each of the album's tracks explore themes of true nothingness, condemnations of superstition, and a profound descent into darkness and time. The end result is a record that seemingly reconciles with a dimming - internal and external, a true end of everything.

Ritual Ascension - Profanation of the Adamic Covenant
Members of Void Rot, Suffering Hour, and Aberration come together in Ritual Ascension, a horrendous sonic desecration decomposing death metal into a subsonic hallucinatory miasma, and deforming into a hideous disfigurement of its former self. Devoured in dissonance and shrouded in catacombal atmospheres, the band’s horrendous debut full-length monstrosity "Profanation of the Adamic Covenant" takes the masterful death-doom horror of early Temple Nightside and of Grave Upheaval, and transfigures it further into the darkest abysses of surrealism. Not dissimilar to an auditory experimental horror film or to a stripped down version of Portal playing experimental doom, the work traces the grotesque lineaments of a disfigured subterranean hellscape through a masterful use of surrealism, dissonance and compositional abstraction. Slow, crushing, atonal dirges alternate lumbering behemoth-like trudges and enigmatic tectonic upheavals that build an immense ominous aura as the album unfolds a dense, mephitic atmosphere draped in malevolent ambience. The album’s monolithic and agonizing crawl is then violently disrupted by onslaughts of wrathful disturbances, where bursts of demented blasting, tortured screams and mangled fretwork blindside the listener, casting them further down the abyss, into a bottomless sepulcher of confusion and of complete chthonic torment.
Aethyrvorous - Akephalic Palingenesis
The enigmatic Australian entity known as Aethyrvorous emerges from a 15 year slumber, marking its return with the full length project ‘Akephalic Palingenesis’, released November 1st via trans-Tasman collaborator Wrought Material.
‘Akephalic Palingenesis’ is a 51 minute opus in 6 movements, building upon the foundation laid by the band’s eponymous 2009 demo. Expansive production and labyrinthine song structures guide initiates through a journey of primordial introspection and aggression, sonically accompanied by an idiosyncratic black death metal alchemy drawn from the wells of Saxony, Kansas City and Queensland et al. A distinctive amalgamation solely that of Aethyrvorous.
‘Akephalic Palingenesis’ demands initiates to light the flames of the sun that will nurture them, or the hell that will consume them.
Mitochondrion - Vitriseptome
"Vitriseptome", MITOCHONDRION's follow-up full length to 2011's "Parasignosis" is a double album culminating in an 86-minute monstrosity, is an axe head the size of the known universe brought down with frightening force to sever the neck of all creation. Forged and fermented with the blood, sweat, and bile over a decade from conception to completion: This Great Work nearly took the life of all involved, leaving all to question the true meaning of Death.
Laceration - I Erode
Quebecois Death Metallers Sedimentum formed back in 2018, giving us a magnificent debut album and several equally formidable shorter releases alongside it. Now they return with an even more doomy, eldritch mini-album for your listening displeasures…
Following some otherworldly ambience, those charnel guitars bring in a truly crushing spectacle of doomed extremity. Grotesque vocals and strong drums permeate the thick, tarry stringed arrangements. Their sinister and inhuman music has sunken even further into the pits of putrefying grave matter to conjure spectral apparitions of the dead. Those of you who already know this superb band will definitely recognise their unique sound while appreciating that the more low-register, slower tempo rumble of this cacophonous rot is even more intense than ever. Never afraid to blast out viscerally gripping savagery, the old school way, there is plenty of those more traditional moments tied into the abhorrent affair. However you like it, Sedimentum master Death Metal…
At a mere three songs, one could foolishly assume this record is lacking. But listen for yourself to discover three majestic pieces of masterful musical torment. In little over twenty minutes, Sedimentum grasp your soul with their ghoulish atmospherics and sepulchral hammering force. Exhuming the ancient spirits, this mini-LP is a must-listen for all true die-hards of the Death Metal underground who value both atmosphere and brutality in equal measure. There is no denying this band has a perfect grapple of both as these new constructions of contorting morbidity prove beyond doubt. Enter the ossuaries of Quebec with one of the finest bands of the underground as its lumbering corpse staggers toward you with only malicious intentions…
Phenocryst - Cremation Pyre
Phenocryst's debut full-length is perhaps purer death metal than its short-length predecessor, riffs are hulking and heaving, with a clearer production imparting a gleaming tank-like sound not unlike mid '90s Bolt Thrower.
Premonições: Petrification - Sever Sacred Light
"Petrification's new single Twisted Visions of Creation is taken from upcoming album Sever Sacred Light, out on Svart Records in February 2024."
Tetragrammacide - Typho:Tantric Aphorisms from the Arachneophidian Qur'an
The Indian sonic temple expand the extremes latent to their aesthetic, and draw them closer and most distant simultaneously, playing into the head-spinning and ouroboros-eating vortex of the album's themes itself. While the preceding full-length had its heart fixated on "Srishti Drishti Vada" - doctrine of perception through the creation - this new opus has sprouted itself under the Upanishadic tenets of "Drishti Srishti Vada": doctrine of the creation through perception and "Ajata Vada" - the radical doctrine of non-creation. State the band, "This way, the phenomena is completely negated, eliminated and rightfully renunciated under all possible situations of any given philosophical, esoteric and religious narratives!"

The Amenta - Plague of Locus
"Plague Of Locus" contains unique takes on tracks by local Black Metal curios NAZXUL and LORD KAOS, global alternative legends DIAMANDA GALAS, ALICE IN CHAINS and KILLING JOKE, and stylistically varied artists WOLF EYES, HALO and MY DYING BRIDE.
Excarnated Entity - Mass Grave Horizon
Com o fim de Ash Borer alguns dos musicos continuam com os seus antigos projetos ou seguem novos caminhos como é o caso com Excarnated Entity que editam brevemente o seu primeiro album...em baixo o primeiro avanço e a demo em destaque...
"NUCLEAR WINTER RECORDS is proud to present EXCARNATED ENTITY's highly anticipated debut album, Mass Grave Horizon, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.
EXCARNATED ENTITY was stillborn under lifeless skies in the year 2018. Originally hailing from Seattle, the quartet features current and former members of Anhedonist and Triumvir Foul. From the beginning, EXCARNATED ENTITY's aim has been to deliver desolate yet powerful death metal doom. They self-released their Stillborn in Ash demo in May 2019, which quickly caught the attention of various labels. It immediately got reissued on tape by Extremely Rotten Productions, followed by vinyl and CD reissues on NUCLEAR WINTER with new artwork/design and remixed audio.
In mid-2020, EXCARNATED ENTITY relocated to Portland, Oregon and underwent a handful of lineup changes before reaching their current formation. With the new lineup in place, work on their debut album was finally completed. Mass Grave Horizon paints a hopeless vision of the future, drearily dredging death metal's darkest depths and locating majestically miserable doom among those ominously bubbling landscapes. Following a two minute instrumental introduction, EXCARNATED ENTITY kick in with a classic downtuned death metal surge before gutting its underbelly, revealing the morose melodicism of earliest My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost. As the eight-song/44-minute album plays on, its attendant song titles vividly illustrate said vision - "Carcinogen Shroud," "Corridor of Flame," and "The Butcher's Pulpit" among them - and one can further detect shades of Trouble, Cathedral, Solitude Aeturnus, and even Lycia lurking within those ruins. It's a massively dense-yet-spacious sound, and the quartet's songwriting suitably incorporates slow twists of the knife, but always in a deliberate and linear fashion. And, come climactic closer "Gallery of Defeat," your fate is sealed and your soul spent...and EXCARNATED ENTITY stand stoic, unmoved and unmovable. "

Adversum - Vama Marga
" “Vama Marga” speaks in tongues with doomish, blazing and epic soundscapes to the infernal regions of the heart. ADVERSVM’s magnum opus to date invokes 10 anthems of left-hand-path apotheosis, Nietzscheism and traditional Satanic power. Creeping with shadowy cold darkness, atmospheric interludes collide with utterly crushing and mesmerizing death / doom metal. “Vama Marga” is an atmospheric journey from slow depths to raging fires and back into the icy abyss of the soul.
Witness ADVERSVM’s Apocalyptic Awakening!"
